Application Procedure of OSSC Junior Stenographer -
Aspirants who have the required qualifications and are willing to apply for the post of Junior steno grapher and Junior typist through OSSC must apply online before the last date mentioned above.
Fresher Candidates to OSSC have to register before applying so
Aspirants who are applying for the first time through OSSC and do not possess a registration Number must register first in the OSSC portal and then apply for the post.
The last date to register is the 12th of December 2024.
Before applying you have to keep all necessary documents and information handy so you can easily fill in the necessary details in the online form.
The documents needed to apply for the post are
- Educational Certificates and Marksheets like 10TH, and 12th certificates etc.
- Stenography certificate if any.
- Mobile number and email ID
- Recent passport size photograph 20kb-100kb in jpg/jpeg format.
- Full signature and Left/Right Thumb impression of the applicant

Selection Process of OSSC Stenographer -
The selection process for OSSC stenographer recruitment is of three stages
- Stage- 1 -- Preliminary Examination (150 marks)
- Stage- 2 -- Main Written Examination (100 marks)
- Stage -3 -- Computer Skill Test and Stenography test (50+50 marks)
- Stage- 3 -- Certificate Verification
The commission will call 1.5 times the advertised vacancy for certificate verification after all three stages are completed.
Admit Card and Exam-date of OSSC Jr. Stenographer -
Admit cards can be downloaded one week before the examination from the official website of the OSSC. Visit the official website for updates.
Merit List -
OSSC generally prepares a merit list based on marks secured in the Main written examination. They will call for certificate verification after that a final list is usually published.
